Introduction:

My name is Cameron Lerch. I am currently residing in Victoria BC Canada. I have been around the tech scene for a long time now, and have fond memories of my early years as a BBS-fiend. I am a UVIC compsci grad and am currently working at a Victoria based company developing LIMS software for the Biotech industry. I have many side projects that I like to work on during my free time, most of which are BSD licensed, and some of which are available from my project page. Although I can often be consumed by my projects and my general meandering, I do find time to enjoy the beauty that Victoria has to offer, as well as spend time with my girlfriend Laura-Jane. I also spend time following Canadian politics, and am interested in voter education and voting system reform.

Information about the domain and the web server:

Zarya, Russian for dawn, is the name of the first ISS module launched into space in 1998. I am inspired by the vision of the ISS and how it has managed to bring so many countries together regardless of government or ethnicity. In keeping with the Zarya theme, all of the systems in the zarya.org domain have been named after ISS modules, including Kibo, the system that is serving the page you are viewing now.
